Our Story

The NUST Chip Design Centre (NCDC) was established as a national-level initiative to address the critical need for skilled semiconductor professionals in Pakistan. Recognizing the global semiconductor shortage and Pakistan's potential to contribute to this vital industry, NCDC was conceived as a comprehensive solution.

Founded with the support of the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) and NUST, NCDC represents a strategic investment in Pakistan's technological future. Our center combines academic excellence with industry relevance, offering programs that bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Today, NCDC stands as Pakistan's premier semiconductor design hub, having trained hundreds of engineers and designed multiple chips that demonstrate our technical capabilities and commitment to innovation.
